Description

The HoloLens is an Augmented Reality headset. In essence it is a holographic computer built into a headset that lets you see, hear, and interact with holograms. We have a development edition here in that is all set for creating and testing new applications.

The Microsoft Hololens is technically a mixed reality headset. It actively scans its environment and thus the 3D objects it shows can be obscured by real world objects instead of being overlaid on top of them.
